Job Description
Neuro Advantage Rehabilitation is a privately owned, independent clinic in Mount Pleasant, WI specializing in the evaluation and treatment of neurologic conditions. This position is PRN with the potential to expand to a full time position as needs grow. The optimal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and efficiently, and a true passion for patient care. This part time position may see additional diagnoses as caseload demands fluctuate.
Responsibilities:

Administration and direct application of Physical/Occupational Therapy treatment modalities.

Performs patient assessment, establishes plan of care, and prepares discharge plans.

Evaluates effectiveness of treatment and modifies as necessary.

Assesses educational and cultural needs of the patient, family, caregiver, or significant other and communicates accordingly to promote maximum benefit of care.

Completes patient documentation in a thorough, timely, and efficient manner.

Maintains a clean environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions. Complies with appropriate and approved safety and infection prevention standards.

Maintains regular attendance in keeping with agreed upon work schedule.

Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization.

Performs essential administrative duties including online scheduling, collecting and reviewing client intake paperwork, processing payments, recording attendance.

Monitors supplies and equipment condition and takes appropriate actions if equipment requires replacement or repairs.
Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation:
-
Current state licensure in Physical/Occupational Therapy
-
Physical/occupational Therapy degree
-
Basic Life Support/CPR
-
Certification or advanced training in assessment and treatment of pelvic floor diagnoses (preferred)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Knowledge of current principles and practice of Physical/Occupational Therapy
-
Two years of direct patient care experience, preferably outpatient rehabilitation

Demonstrates critical thinking skills

Knowledge of insurance requirements, reimbursement rates, and documentation as it relates to clinic operations and patient impact (preferred)

Ability to work independently
